Tailored AI Training for Finance, Accounting and Professional Services

Your team already has the AI tools. Almost nobody is using them on real work.

Most AI training teaches prompts. Prompts are not the problem. The problem is that nobody has sat down with your month-end close, your client onboarding or your reporting pack and shown your team exactly where these tools help, where they do not, and where they quietly make things worse. We do that mapping first, then train against it.

15,000+ migrations completed. 90+ source platforms. Client data processed in Canada.

The starting point

Does this sound familiar?

These are the four sentences we hear most often. None of them is a tool problem.

“We pay for Microsoft 365 Copilot and I have no idea whether anyone uses it.”

Licences were bought, an email went out, and nothing changed. Seat cost is now a line item nobody can defend at budget time.

“We still rebuild the same Excel report by hand every month.”

The data comes out of the ERP, then a person spends a day reshaping it. That day is the most automatable thing in your finance function and it is still being done manually.

“Someone pasted client data into a chatbot and now I need a policy.”

Usually discovered after the fact. The instinct is to ban everything, which pushes usage underground instead of removing the risk.

“I have been asked for an AI plan and I do not know where to start.”

Leadership wants a position. The vendor decks all say the same thing. Nothing in them is specific to how your team actually closes a month.

Why us

Why a data migration company is the one teaching this

We read finance systems for a living

We are not an AI training company. We move accounting systems: 15,000+ migrations across 90+ source platforms, including enterprise multi-entity work. That means our working days are spent inside other organizations’ month-end, chart of accounts, tax history and reporting packs. When we say training will start from your workflows, it is because reading someone else’s finance stack is the actual job we already do.

What that also means

We are the wrong call for some things, and we would rather say it here than on an invoice. If you need vendor-certified AI curriculum, a compliance attestation, or a corporate learning and development rollout across thousands of staff, look elsewhere. If you want a finance team using AI on the close by next month, that is the work we do.

Audience

Who this is for

Organizations that want AI adoption to be practical, responsible and tied to real work.

Accounting and professional services firms

Partners and managers who bill time and need capacity back without adding headcount. The work we target is review, documentation, client correspondence and the reporting that eats junior hours.

Finance teams and CFOs

Controllers and analysts running close, consolidation and reporting on top of an ERP and a great deal of Excel. The gap is almost always between the system of record and the deck that goes to the board.

Municipalities and public-sector teams

Teams that need a defensible position on AI use before they need another tool. Records rules, privacy obligations and council scrutiny come first, and the training has to respect all three.

Small and mid-sized businesses

Already paying for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, Excel or HubSpot, and already paying for the AI features bundled into them. The fastest return is usually in software you own but have not turned on.

Experience and credibility

Experience and credibility

AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot training for professional audiences

Training delivered for professional services, accounting and public-sector audiences, where the constraints on data handling and documentation are part of the brief rather than an afterthought.

CPA-focused education on AI-enabled finance

Education built for CPAs on AI-enabled finance and reporting topics, pitched at practitioners who have to sign off on the output rather than at a general business audience.

Deep practical background in finance workflows

Hands-on grounding in operations, finance workflows, Excel, reporting and business systems. The training is built by people who have done the work, not only taught it.

Human-centered AI adoption

An approach focused on trust, clarity and real usage. Adoption is a behaviour change problem long before it is a technology problem, and the sessions are designed around that.

Curriculum

What we cover

Five areas. Most engagements use two or three, chosen on the discovery call rather than sold as a bundle.

AI readiness and strategy

For leadership teams that need to understand where AI fits, which risks actually matter for your sector, what to prioritise this quarter, and what to deliberately ignore for the next year.

Microsoft 365 Copilot

Hands-on work across Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint, using your own documents rather than sample files. Includes the honest list of what Microsoft 365 Copilot is still bad at.

Google Workspace AI

Gemini and Workspace enablement for teams already operating in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive and Meet. Same approach: your files, your processes.

AI for finance and accounting workflows

Reporting and analysis, the Excel-after-ERP problem, month-end support, client service correspondence and process documentation. This is the module that pays for the engagement.

AI policy, governance and responsible use

A written policy your team will actually follow, sized to your organization, with clear guardrails for client, employee and citizen data. Short enough that people read it.

Assistants beyond the big two

If your team already uses ChatGPT, Claude or a workflow-specific assistant, we cover those in place rather than pretending they are not open in another tab.

Process

How an engagement runs

01

Discovery call

A short call on your tools, your team size and what you are actually trying to fix. No deck. If training is not the right answer, we tell you on this call.

02

Workflow review

We look at real artifacts: a reporting pack, a close checklist, a client onboarding flow. We identify where AI helps, where it does not, and where it introduces risk you have not priced in.

03

Training against your work

Sessions run on your documents and your processes. People leave having done something they will use the same week, not having watched a demo.

04

Policy and follow-through

A written AI use policy, plus optional office hours while the habits form. Adoption fails in week three, not week one, which is when most training has already ended.

Formats

Delivery formats

Virtual or on-site, in Canada. Format is a recommendation from the discovery call, not a package you pick blind.

Executive briefing

60 to 90 minutes for leadership. Where AI fits, what it costs, what to decide now.

Half-day team workshop

One team, one set of workflows, hands on keyboards throughout.

Full-day hands-on training

Deeper coverage across multiple tools and a wider group.

Multi-session enablement

Spaced sessions over weeks so practice happens between them, which is the only way adoption sticks.

Workflow discovery plus training

We map the workflows first and build the curriculum from what we find.

Post-training office hours

Optional standing sessions for the questions that only appear once people start using the tools on live work.

Virtual or on-site

Every format above runs either way. Virtual suits executive briefings and multi-session programs. On-site tends to work better for full-day hands-on training and for teams that have not used these tools before.

Straight answers

What we will not do

We will not tell you AI replaces your team

It does not, and leading with that line is the fastest way to guarantee nobody in the room engages with the training.

We will not quote a time saving before we have seen your work

Any number offered before a workflow review is a guess dressed up as a benchmark. We will give you a measured estimate after step two, not before.

We will not put sensitive data where your policy forbids it

Governance is decided before tooling. If you have privacy or records obligations, bring them to the discovery call and they become a constraint on the curriculum.

We will not tell you to switch platforms

If you already pay for Microsoft 365, we train Microsoft 365 Copilot. If you are on Google Workspace, we train Gemini. Changing platforms to chase an AI feature is almost never worth the disruption.

Canadian context

Data, privacy and governance

Relevant to every organization on this page, and non-negotiable for the public-sector ones.

Client data processed in Canada

The same commitment that governs our migration work applies to training engagements. Where training touches live material, we work in your tenant and your environment so your data stays under your controls.

Your rules are the starting constraint

We do not arrive with a template policy and ask you to adopt it. We start from your existing privacy, records and procurement obligations. If you do not yet have an AI use policy, drafting one is part of the engagement rather than a prerequisite for it.

Questions

Frequently asked

Our team has licences but barely uses them. Is that really a training problem?

Partly. Usually it is three things at once: nobody has connected the tool to a task the person actually dreads, there is no permission to experiment on real work, and there is no policy so cautious people opt out. Training fixes the first, and we address the other two in the workflow review and the policy module.

How much does it cost?

It depends on format and scope, and we quote after the discovery call. A half-day workshop for eight people and a multi-session program for sixty are not comparable, so a public price list would be a fiction. You will get a fixed-scope quote in writing, not an hourly estimate that drifts.

Do we need to choose Microsoft or Google first?

No. We train whichever you already pay for. If you run both, which is common after an acquisition, we cover both and flag the places where having two overlapping stacks is costing you more than the AI is returning.

Can you train on ChatGPT or Claude instead?

Yes. Those tools are usually already in use whether or not they are approved, so covering them openly is safer than ignoring them. Governance for general-purpose assistants gets more attention than it does for Microsoft 365 Copilot or Gemini, because the data boundaries are less obvious.

Will you use our real client data in the training?

Only within the limits you set, and only in your environment. Many engagements use anonymised or internal material for the hands-on portion instead. This is decided in writing before any session runs.

We are a municipality with procurement rules. Can you work within them?

Yes, and we would rather deal with them at the start than at the contract stage. Bring your procurement thresholds, privacy requirements and records obligations to the discovery call so the proposal is shaped to fit them.

Do you provide CPE or CPD credits?

Every governing body sets its own rules, so the answer varies by region. We provide a confirmation of participation letter setting out the content, duration and date, which you submit to your body. In many cases it counts towards your requirement. We will not tell you it is guaranteed, because that is your regulator’s decision rather than ours.

Is this delivered remotely or in person?

Either. Remote works well for executive briefings and multi-session programs. In-person tends to be better for full-day hands-on training, particularly for teams that have not used these tools before.

We are already mid-migration with you. Should we do this now or after?

After go-live, in almost every case. During a migration your team is already absorbing a new system, and adding a second learning curve reduces the retention of both. The exception is the governance module, which is worth doing early because it shapes how people handle data in the new system from day one.
