What does SaaS Direct actually do?
We move accounting data from one system into QuickBooks and prove it reconciles. That includes the general ledger, receivables, payables, inventory and transaction history, plus Canadian sales tax setup, and training your team on the destination system.
Which systems do you migrate from?
Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV and Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks Desktop, spreadsheets and custom databases, among others. If your system is not listed, ask us.
How long does a migration take?
Most small and mid-sized migrations complete in two to six weeks from kickoff. Multi-entity and ERP migrations take longer. The assessment gives you a named go-live date before you commit, not an estimate that moves.
Will we have downtime?
No. The migration runs in parallel with your live system. You keep working in your current software until the reconciled file is signed off, then you cut over.
How is pricing set?
Fixed scope, fixed fee, set after the data assessment. Hourly migration billing rewards slow work, so we do not use it. You see the number before any records move.
Is Canadian sales tax handled?
Yes. GST, HST and PST codes, filing history and input tax credits are mapped into QuickBooks as part of scope, so your next return is not a reconstruction project.
Is our transaction history preserved?
Yes. Full transactional history migrates and is reconciled to your last close, so year-end and audit trails survive the move. Where history is deliberately left behind, we name it in the assessment first.
How do you protect our data?
Data is handled under signed confidentiality terms, moved over encrypted connections, and access is limited to the migration team assigned to your file. Working copies are destroyed after sign-off on request.
Do you work with accounting firms?
Yes. Firms refer clients, white-label the work under their own brand, or co-deliver with our team while keeping the client relationship. See the partner programs page.
Do you sell QuickBooks licences?
Yes. We are an Intuit-trusted partner and sell QuickBooks Online and Desktop Enterprise in Canada, with setup, chart-of-accounts design and sales-tax configuration included.
